After falling in love with B.o.B.’s stunning musicality after hearing Nothin’ On You, here comes a stunning new single featuring one of the unexpected people to have a collaboration with Bobby Ray – Hayley Williams of well-known band Paramore. Hayley may be known for providing highly enthusiastic performances for her band but she tones it down for this track and the end result is something very fantastic in epic proportions.

B.o.B’s rapping skills continue to be amazing while still remaining to be not annoying at all. However, the star of the track has to be Hayley Williams. She added another touch into an already magnificent track. Instead of sounding purely hip-hop, Hayley’s vocals made sure that the track will not be one-dimensional by putting in some angst that has been a trademark of hers.

In the end, B.o.B. has again made a hit that again largely due to a fine job in meshing B.o.B’s artistry with that of Hayley’s. Airplanes is simply outstanding and if you have not listened to the track, you are missing a whole lot of awesomeness.
