California Gurls Single Review: California Gurls by Katy Perry

With some bravado present in her music, Katy Perry has created one heckuva image that has transcended the norms of the pop music industry. After boldly making her mark in the industry with singles such as I Kissed A GirlHot N Cold, and Thinking of You, Miss Perry is back with her take on how a summer should be celebrated with California Gurls, the first single for her upcoming album named Teenage Dream.

The single is well-equipped for it to become the next big hit of Miss Perry. The fun it induces is really contagious, mind that. For once, Snoop Dogg is not at all annoying in a collaborative effort. There may be some traces of that garbage named Ke$ha but Miss Perry easily outclasses her with this single. There is no vocal manipulation done at all. This makes California Gurls a very great record. The trademark vocals of Miss Perry are still packing some punches. An effort that one should not miss, ultimately.
