Alexx Calise is an independent female rock singer, guitarist, and songwriter based in LA. Her music has been played in several MTV/VH1 programs and has even toured all over the United States. Single Review: Break Me by Alexx Calise

If one is familiar with how Orianthi sounds, one should not be surprised by this single. There is the much-needed edge that one looks for in a rock record. The arrangement of the track reminds me of another female-led band though. It sounds much like that of Evanescence’s.

A very friendly chorus is also present; hence, making the track palatable for rock music fans there. I guess it is pretty obvious now that I do like the track. It gives one a much-needed change of material after the constant presence of pop material in the charts. The track is pretty great – though semblances to Orianthi may be a little bit of a downside. If one does not think about the comparisons or likenesses to other artist present in the mainstream side of things though, this track is going to be a charm for their senses.
