Single Review: Teenage Dream by Katy Perry

After wowing people with California Gurls, Mrs. Russell Brand releases another smashing pop gem that screams ‘listening indulgence’ right from the get go. Teenage Dream is absolutely better than California Gurls. The differences between the two songs are quite evident. Teenage Dream has a funky vibe that lets the track veer away from the ‘shallowness’ that California Gurls had. Another thing that sets Teenage Dream apart from California Gurls is that nasty bridge. It showed some seriousness (for once) from Katy after treating us to fun-filled tracks the last time around.

I guess it is safe to say that Teenage Dream can be another successful offering from Katy Perry. I just do not get why the track gets compared to California Gurls. People, you have to understand that Teenage Dream is miles ahead than California Gurls in terms of overall quality and polish. Do yourselves a favor and let your ears listen to an amazing and wonderful single from Mrs. Brand.
