I have to admit that I have not heard Kelly Rowland’s ‘Rose Colored Glasses’ and ‘Grown Woman’ though my anticipation for her second solo album remains on a high. I suppose you guys know what I thought of ‘Commander.’ I thought of the said track as the track that could finally give Miss Kelendria that big success as a solo artist that she dearly wants. I only heard Forever and a Day recently and I have to say that it only drives up my anticipation for the album even more.
Forever and a Day again enlists the help of French producer David Guetta who also was the man responsible for ‘Commander.’ The sound is not as heavy as ‘Commander’ but possesses fast beats that resemble those Europop singles out in the market. This is not a bad thing however. The luscious hooks in the track just make the track deadly. Forever and a Day will not match the greatness that was provided by ‘Commander’ but it is close enough. The David Guetta and Kelly Rowland combination started gaining some traction with ‘When Love Takes Over’ and I guess this single will only make the said tandem last much longer.
