The title of this new track by David Guetta may remind you immediately of that track with Akon which had a controversial video. The word which was present in that track with Akon (‘chick’) is again present in this new track with Rihanna. What is weird with this track is that it is used for an ad campaign involving Doritos, yes that snack company. On a not-so-weird scheme of things, the single is the lead track for the re-release (artists love re-releasing their material nowadays sadly) of David Guetta’s ‘One Love’ album.

The single has lots of problems. First, it is not as catchy as past Guetta productions such as ‘Memories’ and ‘When Love Takes Over.’ Second, it all sounds like Rihanna is suddenly imitating Ke$ha with all the auto-tune going in the track. Third, it is nice to see Rihanna trying to tap into the ‘club audience’ but this track will not do it. Overall, it is not really a stinker in terms of overall quality but am not simply jumping up and down enough for this to merit some big time consideration in my player.
