This is simply stunning.
Adele, who recently released her sophomore album 21, recently completed her highly anticipated cover on BBC Radio 1′s Live Lounge. What song did she cover? Cheryl Cole’s Promise This.
If the original had lots of synths, Adele’s rendition goes the soulful route and the results are absolutely splendid.
The arrangement for Adele’s rendition included the piano, tambourine, and some drum sounds. Adele also employed two backup singers who she described as ‘two lovely girls.’
One can argue that Adele’s rendition is better than the original which was done by Cheryl. Adele’s rendition shows the way that the song must be played. Am I blown away? Hell yes.
