As I have said in my ‘artist feature’ post before about LectroLips, the music that they create playfully utilizes the synthesizer and this music gets mixed with elements coming from the pop and electronic genres in order to create a delectable record.
The duo, namely Leo Tarring and Antony Edwards, from United Kingdom have released an EP entitled ‘Exempt From Classification’ which I really loved due to the presence of two tracks specifically ‘Love Has Lied’ and ‘This Record Sound.’ Just recently, LectroLips has released a new single entitled What We Came For and the best part is that it could be downloaded for free in the duo’s SoundCloud page.
What We Came For may remind one of ‘This Record Sound’ due to the playfulness of the synthesizers in the track. Also, the new single from the duo again possesses a vibe that seems like it came straight from a record produced in the 80′s. The duo has also announced that What We Came For is the first track that will be released for their forthcoming EP. If this track indicates that the duo will continue utilizing their musical strengths, I am honestly all for it.
Here’s a working stream of the newest single by LectroLips, What We Came For:
So what do you think? Is it any good? Or is it just pure rubbish? Let me know by posting a comment!
