The Knux are composed of brothers Kentrell “Krispy” Lindsey and Alvin “Joey” Lindsey. Born and raised in Louisiana, New Orleands, the brothers had to relocate to Los Angeles, California due to Hurricane Katrina. The brotherly duo has released one album (‘Remind Me in 3 Days…’) back in 2008. The said album included the singles ‘Cappucino’ and ‘Bang Bang.’
The duo has quietly released their new single entitled She’s So Up which is part of their forthcoming album on their website for fans to grab. She’s So Up lets one hear the duo play up to their strengths. By this, I mean energized guitars are present as well as the band’s wit (and talk about the ladies) which has been pleasant to hear actually. Basically, She’s So Up is a well-done combination of rock, pop, and even hip-hop which the duo’s fans will certainly love. She’s So Up can also be said as something of a bolder track coming from the duo. If the single is any indication, expect more charged up tracks in the duo’s upcoming album which is the follow-up to their ‘Remind Me in 3 Days…’ effort. You (and your speakers) have been warned.
