The blog’s latest feature is Ilia Darlin who has released her debut single entitled Car Crash.
It should be noted that Miss Darlin has already made it big in her homeland – appearing in massive publications such as Esquire and Greek Vogue. She now has her sights set in the United Kingdom and she plans to make it big in the U.K with Car Crash.
Car Crash, set for an April 2011 release, was recorded with En Vogue producer Chris Boulden and could be described as a bittersweet love song sprinkled with shiny electro beats that certainly goes with the current flow of pop music.
The video of Car Crash lets one see Miss Darlin toy with the meat left by the people she butchered. When you read it, it looks too gory but heck, it actually fits into the message that the track conveys.
The track is not all about possessing shin electro beats though. Some witty lyricism from Miss Darlin is also present throughout the entirety of the track. Such elements personally make me excited regarding the prospects of Miss Darlin as she struts her material to the anticipating ears of the public.
It is also important to note that Car Crash was just one of the tracks recorded in collaboration with Universal and Konvict Musik (which is Akon’s label) while in L.A. Other songs recorded are entitled “Bang Bang Bar” and “Shut Me Down.”
So there you have it. This is Miss Ilia Darlin. Will she succeed in her plan of making it big in the U.K? Only time will tell.
