There are songs that have the unexplained capability of making the listener fall in love right after the first play.
This new track from Nerina Pallot is fortunately one of them.
Everything in the track works cohesively. What about the tune? It is bloody brilliant. The track exudes this warmness and brightness that perfectly fits with the ongoing scorching summer season (well, it is currently summer in my country). The British songstress who penned Kylie’s Aphrodite (the title track) has done a marvelous job with this single which happens to be the lead single for ‘Year of the Wolf.’
Will your folks love listening to this? Without any hesitation whatsoever, I would say ‘yes.’ The instrumentation paves way for a listening experience that is easy, fun, and allows an instant connection with the listener – just the way your folks would want it.
Did I forget to say that this track is actually contagious too? Oh wait I think I just did.
