Katy Perry has done a brilliant, if not genius, job in choosing the cover art for her upcoming single Last Friday Night (TGIF). I did not like Teenage Dream album that much but there were songs that really got me hooked. Fortunately, Last Friday Night (TGIF) is one of them.
The geeky cover art may remind you of those high school yearbooks that have your faces plastered on its pages. Will Last Friday Night top the Billboard Hot 100 charts? Seeing how Katy Perry has managed to be relevant and successful throughout the years, I can say yes, she will have another chart-topper with Last Friday Night (TGIF).
Again, kudos to Katy Perry for choosing another route with her cover art. It is not sensual unlike her previous cover arts but it remains effective.
Hopefully, Katy will also release Peacock. We can all dream anyway, right?
