Still cannot get over with the lushness of Nerina Pallot’s Put Your Hands Up (The Reflective Inklings review)? I sure cannot! Nerina has released a remix of the lead single of her upcoming Year of the Wolf album entitled Put Your Hands Up (Like It’s 1987) (We Are The Chatterley’s Mix). The remix features production help from Andy Chatterley who is, by the way, Nerina Pallot’s husband.
As the title suggests, the remix will lead the listener to a trip down memory lane with synthesizers that scream “Hello, we are from the 80s!” with intensity and aplomb. I rarely like remixes but I have to say there are always exceptions. This is one of them. An already impressive summer tune gets to shine brighter with this remix. Well done, the Chatterlys!
