I have already posted my playlist of my favorite Lady GaGa singles. That playlist included eight singles which I ranked in order. As part of the blog’s unofficial “Lady GaGa Week”, I would be posting another playlist. In this post, I would rank my favorite unreleased tracks of the one and only Lady GaGa. This playlist will include ten tracks that are ranked in order. This playlist also includes promotional singles for they are not official singles. Let us get the ball rolling, shall we?

10. Beautfiful, Dirty, Rich (The Fame)

A crunchy beat is what makes this track a favorite. GaGa’s songwriting, arguably, is not at her definitive best in this track but at times, what matters is that the track satisfies you in any way possible. That’s what Beautiful, Dirty, Rich did to me and that is why it is included in this playlist.

9. Dance In The Dark (The Fame Monster)

Admittedly, I was not the biggest fan of this track when I first listened to The Fame Monster but after several plays, the track eventually became one of the GaGa tracks that I loved playing non-stop. This Fernando Garibay concoction boasts a mesmerizing synth-laden instrumental that only gets better when the luscious lyrics, which talk about sex, are thrown into the mix.

8. Teeth (The Fame Monster)

Don’t be scared / I’ve done this before / Show me your teeth” equates to lyrical gold from GaGa. This is definitely the funkiest offering from GaGa. A thick and heavy beat accompanies the track that is loaded with lyrics that again contain sexual undertones. This track got me wanting to “take a bite of GaGa’s bad girl meat.”

7. Monster (The Fame Monster)

The Auto-Tune may have stained the song a bit albeit its aim was to improve the track aesthetically but Monster still makes it into the list for a well-executed dark theme. Best part would be this: “He ate my heart then he ate my brain / That boy is a monster.” It pretty much defines the story of the track with aplomb.

6. Hair (Born This Way)

Hair is actually one of the promotional singles released for Born This Way. The title may remind you of another hit done by a youngling named Willow but the substance in this track actually makes it superb. GaGa using the hair as an expression of her identity is a tad surprising but it all works.

5. Electric Chapel (Born This Way)

Electric Chapel is one of those tracks that did not get me pumped after a first listen. However, once I started seeing its magic, I realized that the track is actually a very delectable piece of electropop aided by the presence of those edgy guitar riffs.

4. Highway Unicorn (Road To Love) (Born This Way)

A ridiculous title may turn some people off but that should not be the case as Highway Unicorn (Road To Love) is actually one of GaGa’s most impressive tracks vocally. This is arguably the most impressive track that uses unicorns in the history of pop music.

3. Scheiße (Born This Way)

Hearing “I don’t speak German but I can if you like / Aww!” in the opening of Scheiße got me pumped up immediately. This is a track that can make its presence felt soon on fashion shows. The luscious beats completed the process of the track winning me over. This is obviously my favorite among the tracks included in Born This Way.

2. You and I (Born This Way)

If you are getting annoyed by the presence of Born This Way tracks in this playlist, do not worry for You and I is the last track from the said album in this playlist. Queen makes a triumphant appearance in this track through the beats of We Will Rock You and that only intensifies this track. This is one of the best power ballads that GaGa has ever done.

1. Speechless (The Fame Monster)

If You and I is only one of the best power ballads that GaGa has ever done, I consider Speechless as the best power ballad that GaGa has ever recorded. GaGa’s vocals continue to show their impressive qualities in Speechless and the instrumentation is actually top-notch. Am I left speechless after hearing this track? Hell yes, I am.

This ends the playlist. As usual, I do welcome your musings. Just share them via the comments section below.
