Christina Aguilera joining forces with Maroon 5 is one of those pairings that just seemed impossible but thanks to Xtina and Adam Levine being judges in NBC’s The Voice, such happened. Maroon 5′s latest single Moves Like Jagger simply exudes pop perfection.

Coated with whistled melodies and a fiery electronic beat that may tell the listener right away that this is a different Maroon 5 track, Moves Like Jagger is definitely one catchy offering that can (and should) get you hooked after the first listen. Xtina’s cameo appearance may have been shorter than what was expected but it still does wonders.

Moves Like Jagger is definitely different from Misery. However, we have seen the band make changes that work (Makes Me Wonder to be specific) and I will not be surprised if Moves Like Jagger eventually finds big time success.

So do I have to state the obvious? Moves Like Jagger is definitely amazing. Enough said. Lastly, in terms of singles released recently that have the word “Jagger” in them, this is the best so far.

Definitely better than: Wake Up Call and Swagger Jagger
Just as impressive as: Misery and Out of Goodbyes
